What Walmart says

  • RuleJPEG, JPG, PNG or BMP.
  • RuleSquare, 1:1.
  • RuleUp to 5 MB per file; a larger file fails the submission.
  • RuleProduct shots on a seamless white background, RGB 255, 255, 255.
  • Tip2200 x 2200 px; at least 1000 x 1000 px for the zoom feature.
  • TipOn a white background shot, keep the product off the frame edge with a 2.5% white border.

We pad onto pure white, but we cannot check the 2.5% border or set the 300 ppi tag Walmart lists. The page we could read is Walmart's Canadian one: the US page loads its text by script and could not be opened here. It lists 1000 px as the zoom minimum, and a search summary of the US page says 1500 px; 2200 px meets both.
