Converted to PNG on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
PNG keeps every pixel exactly, so there is no quality setting.
Why convert JPG to PNG
Some programs and upload forms ask for PNG, and PNG is useful when you will edit an image several times: it is stored without loss, so saving it again does not degrade it further, as repeatedly saving a JPG does.
What changes
Converting a JPG to PNG does not improve it. The detail the JPG already gave up stays gone, and the PNG file is usually larger. A JPG has no transparency, so the PNG you get is fully opaque.
Questions
Is my image uploaded anywhere?
No. The conversion runs in your browser, using your device's own image engine. The file is never sent to our servers or to anyone else.
Will the PNG look better than my JPG?
No. The PNG is a lossless copy of what the JPG shows, including any compression artifacts it already has.
Is it free, and is there a limit?
It is free, with no account and no limit on how many images you convert. Each image can be up to 40 MB, and up to 30 can go in at once.
What if my browser cannot create this format?
The page tells you before you start. Browsers differ in which formats they can write, and current versions of Chrome, Edge and Firefox are the safest choice.
